Babbity Bowster Sold Out
The Babbity Bowster is a bar, restaurant located in the Merchant City area of Glasgow. It is tucked away in a small pedestrian street where determined people make the effort to find them. This Georgian building, originally built in 1790 and attributed to the architect Robert Adam, was saved from demolition in 1983 and opened in October 1985 by the existing owner Fraser Laurie. The Babbity Bowster was a dance of that time “Babbity” being "bob at the" and "Bowster" meaning bolster or large pillow.
Their French chef, Jean Claude Marcoccio, combines his gallic flare with fantastically fresh Scottish produce from the sea, the land and the air, to create inventive and tasteful food. The restaurant provides a wonderful atmosphere, which is heightened in the winter months when the chill sets in and they set the peat fire.

Browns Brasserie & Bar Sold Out
Browns has a plum position on George Square in Glasgow city centre. Housed in the old General Post Office building, Browns is part of a nationwide family of relaxed brasseries. Great coffee and feisty cocktails are a draw at Browns but the real star of the show is the modern British food. Browns brasserie has several menus and they are all extensive.
